Since I've now sold the T37, and have completed two Star 45's (well... one Star 45 and one Salish 475), I thought it would be a good time to end these two blogs and focus on one generic RC Sailboat blog where I could post any new RC sailboat projects.

Or use the older address at http://rcsailboats.blogspot.com/.
So with that, I'm officially signing off!
Peace!

Hello. Wondering if you have, or could make frames for
ReplyDeletea 36 inch Sun Wind/Sun Daze.
Hi,
DeleteThanks for your post. However, you posted it on a blog that I really don't normally use any longer. Please, like the title of this post, see my current blog at www.rcmodelyachts.com.
Regarding frames for a 36" Sun Wind... I don't have those. I only have frames for a normal, 50" Vintage Marblehead Sun Wind. It is not as simple as just reducing the frames by 18% to make a 36" version. It would take a tremendous amount of work to create the frames. Unfortunately I don't have the time, or to be honest, the motivation, to make them. Have you considered a full-sized Vintage Marblehead? Also, I'm currently working on three different IOM ("International One Meter") RC sailboats, so perhaps you might consider one of those too.
Good luck on whatever you end up building!
Steve
